Each Art Book is a one-of-one commissioned work of art, individually designed and handcrafted for a single collector. It documents a personal collection of automobiles through museum-quality fine art photography, presented in a handcrafted volume that echoes the materials, craftsmanship, and character of the cars it contains.

 

Every photograph is created exclusively for the collector using the Focused Diffused Lighting (FDL) technique. Each vehicle undergoes an individual photographic session before every image is meticulously hand-finished to museum exhibition standards.

 

The photographs are printed on archival fine art paper selected for exceptional longevity, tonal depth, and colour fidelity.

 

The album itself is entirely handmade by Sarel van Staden. Inspired by coachbuilding traditions, each cover incorporates authentic automotive materials such as leather, carbon fibre, brushed aluminium, or other bespoke finishes chosen to complement the owner’s collection. Every detail—from the construction to the finishing—is completed by hand.

 

Requiring approximately 200 hours of craftsmanship, each volume is produced as a unique collector’s piece. Only six albums are created worldwide each year.
